Meet Laura Buescher

Hi, I'm Laura! I am a speech-language pathologist and social cognitive therapist. Growing up with a brother with autism, I became passionate about social communication from a young age.

I received my Bachelor of Science and my Master of Science in Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences from Loyola University Maryland. I have experience working in both public and non public schools, private practices, and clinics. I have been practicing speech-language pathology for 6 years.

Through the course of my career my passion for social communication continued to grow and in 2021 I had the opportunity to join the team at Social Thinking ® Stevens Creek in San Jose, CA as a social cognitive therapist. I worked closely and trained with an incredible team of experts in the field of social cognition and am excited to bring my expertise to Texas! I have been lucky enough to continue working for Social Thinking ® Stevens Creek remotely while living in Texas!

I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and licenses to practice in Maryland, California, and Texas.
